10K Course Map and Elevation Chart
All participants can receive a copy of the course map on race day. If this is your first time on this course, please take the time to familiarize yourself with the course and note the location of the water and aid stations and bathrooms. The course will be marked with ribbons, flour and signs to help keep runners on the correct course. Volunteers will also be on the course at key locations to help direct runners.
Water and aid stations will be located at the start/finish of the race and approximately 1.5 miles into the 5K course. An additional water/aid station will be located at the turn around for the 10K. Should medical assistance be needed along the course, volunteers will be able to contact the Race Officials to attain medical aid. Runners who may need more water, should carry their own water bottle or hydration pack.
Bathrooms will be available at the race start/finish area. There are also a two bathroom locations on the course.

RUNNING/WALKING CONDITIONS
The route of 10K and 5K Run/Walk are on gravel-like paths. While this does not pose any hazardous conditions (as Quarry Lakes hosts many Run/Walk events), participants should prepare accordingly. Parents with strollers are highly encouraged to use baby joggers with inflated, rubber wheels.
Note: The Kids All Abilities Run will be hosted on a paved road.
CHANGING DISTANCES
You can change your distance on race morning. Downgrading is free. Upgrading requires paying the difference between your paid registration fee and the race day registration fee. On race day, pick-up your bib from the current distance you registered for, let them know you want to change your distance. They will direct you to take your bib to the “change desk” and exchange it for the new distance. Pay fees, if applicable. Be sure to bring cash or a check.
